An exciting opportunity to join a developing Human Resources department. The successful candidate will become part of a small cohesive team and will be responsible for the organisation’s recruitment needs and assisting the HR manager with ER/HR case work. The main duties are, but not limited to: HR/ER: Assisting the HR manager to aid and coach managers on HR/ER related issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management etc. Assisting the HR manager with monthly payroll and queries. Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data. Creating and issuing HR/ER related letters/documentation such as contracts, salary increase letters, probationary letters, etc. Keeping track of new starter orientations, probations etc. Assisting the HR Manager to keep HR documentation up to date and compliant with employment law and legislation. Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment function. Including obtaining approval, advertising vacancies etc. Liaising with and supporting hiring managers with recruitment needs. Including screening CV’s, arranging interview etc. Liaising with and building relationships with external recruitment agencies. Including negotiating recruitment costs, arranging interviews, providing feedback etc. Skills required are as follows: Some experience in dealing with HR/ER issues. Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Proactive and have a positive 'can-do’ approach to tasks. Ability to remain discreet and maintain confidentiality. Good communication and inter-personal skills. Build strong relationships with stakeholders. Ability to work flexibly and work to deadlines. Job Type: Full-time Salary: £26,000.00 /year Experience: Human Resources: 2 years (Preferred)
