The key priorities of this function are – Employee experience & productivity Digital tools for collaboration, engagement & connect (Facebook Workplace, Microsoft O365, Zoom, et al) ONE single domain & work identity for all employees globally Mobile first applications for ease of use, accessibility and consumer-like experience Integrated feedback platforms AI capabilities for integrated and efficient employee services management HR process simplification & digitization Automate/digitize top 3 process in HR operations to improve efficiently & productivity People Analytics Integrated analytics for key process areas (Recruitment, learning & operations) to enable HR & people managers Your challenge: As a Global Program Manager, you should have prior proven experience in project/ program management, operational excellence, and change management in a IT product/project/services organization. You should have proven stakeholder management and influencing skills in a global work environment. The dynamic environment at Nissan would require this person to exercise creativity in the design, development, or improvement of existing processes and driving management of change Lead structuring, planning and execution of key projects and initiatives including management and monitoring of resources, schedules, effective time utilization, delivery of the project deliverables, escalation management and management of change. Contribute to the function’s as well as organizations strategic objectives, provide thought leadership by researching trends and implementing industry best practices to take Nissan Digitalup the value chain Continuously engage with stakeholders and Operations team to understand their needs and define policy procedures, or systems accordingly Proven ability to collaborate in a virtual, multi-cultural, multi- geography environment Excellent problem solving skills Attention to detail and quality conscious Proactive problem solver & good planner Organizing skills, ability to prioritize Experience in leading global programs and multi project initiatives will be preferred. The responsibilities: Manage IT programs and projects and ensure that they meet strategic goals and requirements. Oversee various responsibilities of project initiatives until the project is delivered and deployed successfully. Execute IT projects within the agreed timelines & budget. Lead the digital transformation effort to standardize the delivery management and enabling technology landscape within the customer to achieve cost efficiency and service delivery performance. Consult with suppliers and business stakeholders to provide functional and technical expertise in areas including, solution design, project management, business process improvement and risk identification/mitigation Work with business teams to define, prioritize, and develop benefit realization programs. Assist the domain expert in creating the business case and resolving issues that might come up during development. Provide transparency and visibility of the status of program/projects by implementing tools and standards. Effectively handle escalation points, issue resolutions and over all problem resolution for programs. Competencies required: Education & Experience Level: Engineering Graduate with a first class degree with an MBA preferred Minimum of 10+ years of work experience in Information Technology with at least 8 years of experience in managerial role leading complex programs. Minimum of one internationally recognized Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP) or certified Scrum Master or SAFe Demonstrable experience in managing project budgets up to USD 2M, proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Skills & Attitude: A strong customer orientation and a knack for customer delight and service driven mentality Strong process as well as project management skills – to be able to understand & analyze the current process à identify gaps impacting service delivery and à process reengineering capabilities Ability to grasp complex system workflows and understand cause/effect for actions taken in such systems Ability to connect, engage and effectively collaborate with business stakeholders with a knack for “influencing without authority” Excellent intercultural communication skills, ability to engage at various levels within the organization Keen process focus, ability to organize diverse activities into structured processes & a systems orientation Strong hands-on and can-do mentality. Independent & process focused approach. Ability to function in matrix environments, multiple stakeholders with an adaptive mindset and cross-cultural sensitivities The team: You shall be a part of the “Digital Workplace” team that is spread across the globe. You shall manage a team of project management professionals. You shall be based in Nissan Digital’s Innovation Hub at Trivandrum, Kerala. You shall report to the global leader for Digital Workplace & HR Systems and functionally to governance framework that is currently in place to manage the global program management office.
