The Company is involved in multiple aspects of construction, such as Home Improvement Progam, new buildings, and car parks, among other projects. We are currently looking for the following position to be based in head office. Accounts Assistant The Accounts Assistant, will report to the Accountant, and will be based in head office. He/She will be involved in the following duties and responsibilities: Duties AP Key invoices into Accounting system Check to ensure supporting documents tally with the invoices Handle supplier payment and supplier statement reconciliation Maintain proper filing and records Raise billing for back charging to sub-contractors Issue cheque and arrange Giro payment Data entry of transactions into Accounting system Handling petty cash and all staff claims Assist in timely and accurate month-end closing. Preparation of management reports and statutory reports Preparation of GST report Liase and communicate with bankers, customers, suppliers and internal related departments Other ad hoc admin duties Requirements: At least 2 years’ experience in construction industry GCE ‘O’ Level & above Proficient in MS office application Terms & Conditions Salary depends on experience and qualifications Working Hours: 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 1pm Saturday Annual Leave: After confirmation, 12 days per year, pro-rated for incomplete year of service Medical Benefits: After confirmation, at Company panel doctors, max $40 per visit claim and max $200 claim per year for medical benefits, and $100 per annum for dental benefits Transport provided to/from work at Joo Koon MRT. Variable bonus paid at Company’s discretion according to employee performance and Company performance. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 /month Experience: clerical: 2 years (Preferred) Education: GCE 'O' Level or GCE 'N' Level (Required)
