INTERNAL SERVICE ENGINEER OCMM & MCA (Optical Coordinate Measuring Machine & Manual Coordinate Measuring Arm) If you're looking to join a company with a dynamic vision for the future, set your sights on a challenging career with Nikon Metrology. Nikon Metrology has 10 offices and production sites in 8 countries. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Internal Service Engineer based in Leuven. You will be working at our head office. What is your role? The role of the Internal Service engineer is to troubleshoot, repair and calibrate OCMM systems which are returned under RMA. Updating CRM system for each repair and report back to the coordinator/customer. Performing incoming quality checks on new and repaired MCA systems. As Internal Service Engineer you will have the possibility to develop further to Support Engineer. Deliver and promote the highest standards of customer satisfaction. What are your key areas of responsibility? Provide maintenance and calibration for OCMM equipment Perform repairs for OCMM equipment Perform incoming quality checks on new and repaired MCA systems Define what spares and loan equipment should be held locally to support the repair process Ensure spares and loan equipment are in good working order Identify product and process improvements Keep customer/asset records updated Ensure that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction Document all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submit paperwork in a timely basis Establish and maintain a close relationship with departments in order to support the needs of the customer and remain aware of current technical trends. Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies. Identify product and process improvements. Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, remote desktop. Other duties as required. What are your required qualifications and competencies? Bachelor degree (minimum) in Engineering (electronics, electro-mechanics), or relevant technical experience is required. Experience working in an international environment Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, (French and German are +) Customer oriented and a good organizer Flexible and open minded Strong in communication and able to work independently and accurately Sense of responsibility and initiative.
