The Role This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers or has an analytical mind to provide solutions to clients in the sporting world. You will be part of the project delivery team for the Nielsen Sport business in Australia focused on Nielsen’s sponsorship media exposure analytics and will have the opportunity to develop insights and solutions for some of the biggest brands and rightsholders in sport. This is an entry level role, suitable for someone who enjoys using data to analyse trends and develop insights. Both Sydney and Melbourne based candidates are encouraged to apply. You will be proactive, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities will include: Working with the National Delivery Lead and broader delivery team to manage client deliverables Collaborating with Client Lead to synthesise client objectives and respond to briefs Analysing large data sets to uncover trends and develop stories across sponsorship and media Leveraging data to compile useful, insightful and actionable reports for our clients Supporting the Client Service team in presentation of results to clients, as relevant Various administrative tasks, as required Skills & Experience While all educational backgrounds are welcome to apply, analytical experience such as statistics or business analytics, or alternatively creative experience such as graphic design, would be looked upon favourably Advanced Excel and PPT skills Data compilation and analysis skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Effective time management and organisational skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written & verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability in drawing insights from and telling a story with data An understanding of the sports landscape in Australia Life at Nielsen At Nielsen, we’re proud of our diversity - our Australian and New Zealand offices alone are made up of over 50 cultures and nationalities!
