Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a market leading engineering group who specialise in the Oil and Gas market. Over recent years they have invested heavily in machine capabilities as well as diversified into other industries including offshore wind, subsea, nuclear, petrochemical, agriculture and steel industries. Due to new contract wins and machine capabilities they require an experienced all-round machinist who can both Turn and Mill as well as programme, set and operate mills and lathes using Fanuc controls. The Candidate: Candidates must be able to programme from scratch using Fanuc Experience of working newer Fanuc control systems using Renishaw probe, 2 pallet changers Experienced in machining exotic materials like Inconel and duplex as well as other superalloys Able to work to very tight tolerances of +/- a thousandth of an inch Most of the work is small batch work so candidates must be from this type of background Components can be pretty heavy so this would suit someone from a medium to heavy engineering environment What’s on offer: Rates are £18h basic Overtime is 1.5x for hours worked from Mon-Sat and double time for Sundays Pension contributions of 3% in and matched, soon to rise to 4% Training and ongoing development plans Reference ID: CNC Turn/Mill Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £18.00 /hour Experience: Fanuc Programming: 4 years (Required) CNC Milling: 4 years (Preferred) CNC Turning: 4 years (Required)
