Ensure support functions are engaged and timely responses are provided Develop equipment program time line (in MEED) to meet the CPI process timing Manage CPI timing for ME tasks Work with IE and Program Manager to ensure continued alignment of MSD 1 & MSD 2 CPI Milestone dates with ME swim lane step dates Ensure Sequence Chart is accurate with specific assurance that traceability plans and rework plans are designated Ensure alignment of MSD data with equipment purchase plans Support PFMEA accuracy and timing, including DSS assessments are completion Maintain / lead Visual Equipment Trackers process for the program Establish and follow material requirements to support MQ1 and MQ2 timing Support obtaining prints and MQ parts for MQ activities Meet A/R equipment budget and accurately forecast spending Monitor QAD balances and spending – forecast vs actual Move or balance funding as necessary (QAD balances and Internal Order Request forms) Monitoring and forecasting of capital and tooling Monitoring and resolution of all ECRs assigned in Team Center Ensure manufacturing system delivered to plant meets capacity requirements Create and maintain accurate & timely data in MEED for PVR, MQ1, MQ2, PR, PV, T-Spec & Invoice Initiate requests to support groups via e-mail launch tool in MEED or using e-room IMS Tool Organize and lead PVR activities and report in CPI Lead implementation of Manufacturing System (PQ – Process Qualification) tasks included in CPI ME5-1 Support PV builds Participate in LSR1 & LSR2 (technical requirements) Qualification: Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering degree (preferred) Min. 3 – 6 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar Elevated understanding of Nexteer procedures, operating instructions, and specifications Working knowledge of Nexteer CPI process (preferred) Working knowledge of the ECR process (preferred) Working knowledge of TcM, e1ns, and MEED Understanding of PFMEA and DSS assessment process Elevated level of understanding of the Nexteer’s Equipment Runoff Book and Machine Qualification (MQ) process Good understanding of the product system design and product line organization Good understanding of Process flow, Lean Equipment Design, and Traceability Proven problem-solving capabilities Above average in written and oral communications level – will need to communicate to multiple levels and areas in the Nexteer organization.
