This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced logistics and supply chain specialist to join our client's business at an exciting growth period as an Operations Manager. The role You will hold responsibility for leading and managing site operations, ensuring operational processes are in place to achieve customer requirements. Being an astute and commercially minded manager, you will be customer-facing and will build and maintain a solid relationship with the customer to deliver service requirements. With the ability to create a budget forecast in-line with customer expectations, you will continuously review the performance against the forecast and own and deliver operational initiatives to improve efficiency against evolving customer requirements. There will be full P&L responsibility for the site and you will continually review costs against operational requirements. Recruitment will be a key element in the initial stages, working collaboratively with the in-house recruitment team along with external agencies to ensure business deliverables are met. The person Experienced transport and logistics manager at senior level, with no less than five years' experience from within the FMCG sector - being picking/delivery centred. CPC certified.
