As a developing specialist in agriculture technology, your role is to provide support for solutions enabled by the John Deere Precision Ag strategy and other aligned technology to our internal and external customers. Working closely with the Precision Ag Manager you will: Assist in leading the organization in the area of John Deere precision farming products Ensure the understanding of John Deere Precision Ag solutions and precision farming products in all departments Serve as an internal and external technical specialist for all precision farming products Support the dealership effort with third party providers (Agronomist groups, Weather Services, etc.) Work with key dealer personnel to manage Nelson Motors and Equipment Precision Ag Data, Equipment and Support Packages. In-field duties will include but are not limited to equipment optimization, display orientation, weather service installation, etc. Desktop organization and analysis of customer field data Assist in customer clinics and Dealership internal training programs Qualifications: Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions Solid organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills Able to work flexible hours and travel to store and customer locations Enrolled in a Precision Farming program or Agronomy with an agriculture background a very strong asset This position is based in Avonlea, Saskatchewan. It is a beautiful Saskatchewan community located within 45 minutes from the capital city of Regina.
