The Systems Engineer will be part of our pre-sales Design team, working closely with the wider Design team as well as our Client Account Management and Business Development teams to assist in the production of technical solutions for our clients. The primary value of this role is to understand a client’s existing technical landscape and build a detailed technical solution which meets the identified business objectives. Engaging with clients and prospects at all levels to generate positive interest in the technologies we are working with and the business benefits that can be gained from the investment in these technologies. As a Systems Engineer in enterprise networking, security and datacentre technologies you will have at least 2 years of experience with enterprise network Cisco technologies and preferably at least 1 years' experience as a dedicated Pre-Sales Consultant. A thorough understanding of Cisco technologies across enterprise networking is essential, with a good to thorough knowledge of Cisco’s datacentre and security portfolio also desirable. The following core technical skills are pre-requisites for the role: - Experience with Cisco enterprise networking technology and design Technical background with CCNA or CCDA certification desirable Technical knowledge and design experience of Cisco Catalyst switching technology and protocols Technical knowledge and design experience of Cisco ISR/ASR routing platforms and routing protocols Technical knowledge and design experience of Cisco Wireless technologies and wireless standards Knowledge of WAN technologies such as MPLS, VPLS and VPNs Experience with Cisco sales tools such as CCW and product promotions The following technical skills are desirable: - Technical knowledge and design experience of Cisco Nexus datacentre technology (including ACI) Technical knowledge and design experience of Cisco UCS product range Technical knowledge and design experience of Cisco Meraki technology Technical knowledge and design experience of Cisco security technologies and protocols Understanding of cloud technologies Understanding of SDN developments such as SDA and SD-WAN, automation and orchestration The following non-technical skills are highly desirable: - Good verbal communications skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions to different audiences Ability to produce detailed, clear and concise client facing documentation Qualities All roles within Natilik are challenging and demanding and require exceptional individuals to achieve exceptional results.
