NTW Solutions Limited is a newly established private company, wholly owned by Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, which provides the Trust with estates, facilities, procurement and some financial and workforce services. It employs around 600 staff and has the potential to increase the range of services that it provides to the Trust and other organisations. We are proud to be recognised as a mindful employer. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary/Communications Lead within NTW Solutions Ltd. The main duties of the role will include; The role of Company Secretary is pivotal to NTW Solutions Ltd and you will be responsible for the Company’s statutory compliance by developing systems and processes, and be the key individual who ensures the Company is safe and effective in the delivery of its business with a sharp focus on communications ensuring good communications within the Company Board and its committees; with the shareholders (CNTW NHS Foundation Trust); and with other relevant bodies, such as legal advisers and auditors. You will take responsibility for the development of a continuous cycle of improvement in good governance, working with the Board of Directors and Non-Executives (particularly the Chair and Managing Director), as a critical friend, developing reporting and assurance processes and helping the Company to better develop its risk profile. You will be a key member of the management board and will act as advisor to the Board of Directors on governance matters, ensuring that the Company’s corporate and constitutional affairs are delivered to the highest standards of probity and according to statutory and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will join us as a key member of our senior team at a crucial time in our development. We’re looking for someone who is thorough yet adaptable, committed to high standards and an active team player, able to communicate at all levels, but most importantly you share our values.
