The Role: We are hiring a Lead Solution Architect to join our growing insurance consulting practice. We are looking for forward-thinking individuals with a professional services background who are able to bridge the divide between business and technical consulting. Working with the UK’s largest composite insurers, you will be integral to the delivery of many client projects. This role is London based but will involve a significant amount of travel within the UK and will require flexibility. The Opportunity: Working with business and technical stakeholders on future product direction and technology capability Design, delivery and governance of end-to-end solutions from inception through to successful completion Promoting and facilitating coordination of all technical and non-technical streams within a programme to achieve the successful delivery of an integrated solution Working in a varied technical environment covering digital, applications and infrastructure Working with our salespeople in pre-sales situations. The Person: Knowledge of the UK composite insurance and/or financial services’ domains and their business processes, key trends and value drivers Skilled at explaining and presenting both solutions and rationale for decision making to a technical and non-technical audience via documentation and presentations Full project lifecycle delivery experience - including pre-sales, estimation, proposal & bid writing, project and team management Technically aware of the integration sector (and the wider technology environment) with the ability to apply product capabilities to deliver effect solutions for our clients Knowledge of, and experience in, the following would be an advantage: Java, Linux, Amazon AWS / EC2 Red Hat Enterprise Linux, JBoss Developer Studio​, JBoss Fuse, ​EAP, PosgreSQL, JDK, Gradle Oracle SOA Suite Oracle Business Intelligence - Data Warehousing Informatica ETL Salesforce BMC Qlick
