In line with further business expansion and success we are now looking to take on and develop a trainee in our successful telecoms engineering company based at Hornbeam Park in Harrogate. You will work full time within a very successful and growing Telecommunications business; learning expertise in the areas of CAT5/CAT6 network cabling systems, networking, LAN, SIP Trunks & VoIP, Wi-Fi, Router setup, telephone system configuration, fault diagnostics and system repair. You will work alongside a team of highly experienced Telecom System Engineers and will be tasked with traveling to customer sites to install and maintain a variety of hosted & fixed telephone systems and support infrastructure (such as the NEC, Unify, Panasonic, Avaya, 3CX ranges). There will be daily interaction with business customers, so good communication skills and a professional approach are vital. You will receive full on-the-job training allowing you to become a fully trained VoIP Telecom Engineer. Required Skills / Experience: - An interest and aptitude for IT, Networking & developing technologies Basic knowledge of PC Setup and basic networking IT as a hobby / interest outside of work Excellent customer service skills Desire to learn via home and external study Excellent communication skills Good written and PC skills Be immaculately presented Have a positive and proactive attitude towards work Have a full UK Driving License as this role will progress requiring travel Are looking for a long term career within the telecoms sector Ideally Harrogate based The Package Starting salary of £15,000 with regular reviews Company van with progression.
