About the Role The Software Architect is responsible for the architectural oversight of the design, development and maintenance of our portfolio of next-generation cloud-based analytics software products, including audience measurement, campaign analysis tools and predictive and natural language processing. This role follows NLogic and industry standards as well as best practices in accordance with applicable software development methodology and processes. In addition, the Software Architect will collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to the product's vision and goals, as well as technical strategy. Key Responsibilities Responsible for ongoing scalability, security, and maintainability of our products. Champion software re-use and continuous refactoring and lead application performance tuning. Work with team to create the architecture for scalable and extendable solutions. Create and maintain detailed design documents as well as supporting the lifecycle of those documents Contribute to the product's vision and goals, as well as technical strategy. Provide input on high level sizing, design concepts, technical feasibility and product concepts Design, develop, and maintain software products and provide reliable solutions using sound software engineering techniques Oversee the code reviews, offer coaching and general technical guidance to the developers Advocate for and execute development initiatives, best practices and coding standards Help drive the evolution of our platform through analysis of technical challenges and scaling/availability issues, proposing architectural enhancements and driving their implementation Proactively keep a tab on emerging technologies, evangelize and lead adoption throughout the teams. Prototype with new technologies, libraries, design patterns, emerging trends in software design and development. Create and maintain an architecture roadmap. Qualifications & Experience Undergraduate degree required 5 – 7 years’ experience in software engineering, architecture and programming Knowledge and experience in Microsoft development stack, including. Net Framework, C#, SQL Server; UI/UX design Web development using ASP.Net and/or Razor MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular6+, Azure experience Agile software development process; testing frameworks Knowledge of parallel/multithreaded algorithms and processing methods, algorithms and data structures, including expert knowledge in at least some of these areas. Demonstrates an expert knowledge of software architectures, enterprise application interfaces, security, relational databases, software development methodologies, and Microsoft technologies. Extensive experience in design patterns, domain modeling, web services, APIs, and application/database performance tuning. What’s in it for you?
