About the Operations Support Coordinator role: The heart of Operations, the Support Coordinator role is fast paced and varied with the main purpose to provide efficient and effective support to the Operations Directorate (OD), primarily Technical Operations (Surveying & Engineering) & Inspection Managers in line with defined procedures, liaising with customers internally and overall service delivery. Your aim will be to deliver a service to Technical Operations and Inspection divisions including Building Control Services Ltd (Commercial) as well as Land Quality Endorsement in accordance with the business area Service Level Agreement and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure customer and statutory requirements are met. Your core functions within the role will involve the following: Provide operational support to Technical Managers including but not exclusive to; Coordinating diaries, travel & expenses and producing various reports. Coordinating incoming actions and processing in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures, including reporting and invoicing. Coordinating incoming Land Quality Endorsements and processing in accordance with defined processes including reporting and invoicing. Handling general and technical enquiries both by telephone and email from builders, developers, other professional advisors and NHBC staff (seeking assistance from colleagues when necessary). Maintaining regular communication with customers, managing expectations and enhancing relationship. Ensuring that accurate records are maintained in NHBC systems in accordance with defined procedures. Who we are looking for: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will offer a strong background in a varied and diverse operational support role, process driven with organisational and prioritisation skills are essential attributes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop rapport easily will be required alongside the ability to produce work to a high level of accuracy and work efficiently and effectively under pressure. A competent user of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc) is a mandatory requirement. Salary & Benefits £21,000 to £24,500 (depending on experience).
