Programmes Coordinator Do you have what it takes to join our team? Opportunity: We are looking for a Programmes Coordinator who will work closely with the respective Manager in conducting humanitarian projects in various locations. The successful candidate will act as the forward-thinking individual in the department and will need to have strong digital, administrative, writing and communication skills. Previous experience in the NGO sector would be an advantage. Role Outline: 1. Programmes i. Conduct Needs Assessments in accordance with the Programmes Year Planner ii. Formulate Feasibility Proposals from approved Needs Assessments. iii. Source relevant invoicing from third parties iv. Conduct operational logistics in conjunction with the Manager. v. Act as the direct liaison to appeals from outside organisations. vi. Support the Manager with correspondence to any of the field offices globally. vii. Manage all approved programmes on the system. viii. Support the Manager with adhoc tasks related to all programmes. ix. Act as the spokesperson to all persons enquiring about programmes offered. x. Host meetings with parties related to programmes on/offsite. 2. Administration & Finance i. Manage budget controls and database for all programmes. ii. Compile, share and store all feedback reports chronologically iii. Maintain and report all Programmes Activity Sheets iv. Engage with suppliers timeously on sourcing invoices v. Maintain filing systems to ensure all documents are in order vi. Attend to any public requests related to programmes and maintain a tracking system thereof. vii. Develop reporting systems to share information in a clear and concise manner. 3. Fundraising Support i. Act as the liaison between Programmes & Fundraising department to provide suitable PR opportunities for programmes. ii. Formulate a fundraising proposal for local programmes to raise funds and utilise media channels to raise awareness. iii. Engage with the Fundraising department to ensure targets are met. iv. Liaise with Graphics Designer to provide content and information for both digital/print. To be considered for this role you will need to have: Matric with 1-2 years relatable work experience (required) Programmes/Projects experience (desirable) NGO experience (advantageous) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organisational and time management skills Be proactive, energetic, creative and Innovative Great Multitasking skills Attention to detail Good interpersonal skills A passion for humanitarian work Fully Computer Literate – Excel, Word & PowerPoint Strong administrative skills You will also be exceptionally well presented with a corporate image and conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner.
