It’s what’s made us successful and helped to create a competitive advantage for us. The Role Ensures all building assets are promptly and safely maintained. This includes repair and preventative maintenance of fitness equipment, maintenance of electrical components, audio & video systems, monitoring and operating pools, basic plumbing, painting, window cleaning, etc. Performs daily technical maintenance and repair work as directed. Oversees and performs all routine building maintenance and annual building inspections including preventative maintenance related to fire safety and sprinkler systems. Responsible for communicating any upcoming maintenance and preventative maintenance to Club Management and members. Identifies and manages qualified local technical vendor or contract resources (electrician, HVAC, etc.), as required. Oversees and ensures cleanliness of the Club (indoors and outdoors) and equipment. Qualifications Technical Certification in a related field is strongly preferred. Technical hands on experience in related certification field. 3+ years related Facilities Operations or Building Maintenance as a Building Operator experience and related working technical knowledge with a strong record of achieving preventative maintenance and capital expenditure budget goals. 3+ years of leadership and people management experience. Demonstrated experience in swimming pool maintenance and repairs. Related industry experience preferred (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.). A thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures. Demonstrated understanding of safe work practices and Occupational Health & Safety requirements and legislation. Current CPR & First Aid are required prior to start date and must be maintained through employment.
