We are seeking a motivated and passionate professional to join our Strategic Planning team to assist in the delivery of innovative projects and to ensure the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme delivers social, environmental and economic outcomes and meets legislative requirements. You will be part of a team that is utilising contemporary place-based planning practices to update Council’s township frameworks plans. You will contribute to new projects relating to heritage and urban character guidelines, and provide advice to a range of stakeholders and engage with the community through engagement processes. You will also liaise with your colleagues and relevant agencies on strategic planning matters and assist in the preparation and processing of amendments to the Planning Scheme.
