We need you to be able to build and maintain strong relationships with both your colleagues and external clients through excellent verbal and written communication. A strong attention to detail is essential, as well as having a methodical approach to problem solving. We will expect you to draw on your university and employment experiences to manage your time effectively and to meet deadlines. Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering task for infrastructure projects; Coordination with other professionals and related disciplines to produce design deliverables; Compilation of design drawings; Preparing design submissions and other technical documents; Assistance of Engineers and Designers as and when needed. Candidate Specification The ideal candidate possess the following specifications: Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering co-op program from an accredited university; In good academic standing; Extracurricular involvement; enthusiastic and ambitious; Experience with bridges, civil structures, and/or building structures is an asset; Willingness to experiment with new technologies in their work; Ability to solve technical problems independently; Outward facing with good interpersonal skills and Effective in both verbal and written communication.
