Job Motor Coach Industries (MCI) is North America's public and private market motor coach leader, building the J4500 (the industry best-seller for 13 consecutive years), the all-new 35-foot J3500 model, and the workhorse D-Series including the breakthrough ADA-accessible MCI D45 CRT LE Commuter Coach offering lower dwell times for individuals in a wheelchair or in need of assistance to board the bus. MCI will add battery-electric propulsion in 2020. With nearly 30,000 MCI coaches on the road, MCI also provides maintenance, repair, 24-hour roadside assistance, parts supply through NFI Parts, and technician training through the industry's only Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) accredited MCI Academy. POSITION SUMMARY: A Graphic Designer for MCI operates as the primary liaison between the coach customer and the factory, sales and vendors. The designer must produce creative and quality graphic design, price and communicate exterior coach requirements utilizing graphic design technology and computer software packages. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Design coach exteriors and create color renditions and paint charts for use by customers, vendors, sales reps and MCI production personnel. Create sell pricing for decal and paint designs. Produce and release production ready artwork files. Communicate paint and decal material requirements to vendors and coordinate outsource of paint and decals as required to ensure on time release of paint charts. Provide updates as required to the master production schedule. Maintain customer order, pending order and vendor tracking sheets. Any other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Knowledge of paint/graphics materials asset. Experience in designing and creating decal and paint designs asset. Strong detail and customer service orientation. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills required. Able to manage multiple simultaneous demands, while meeting deadlines. Related post-secondary graphics design/arts training required. Strong Corel Draw, MS Office, Photoshop experience is required.
