Immediate Accounts Payable Officer - 9mth FTC £27-28k City My client, a global construction company based in the City, are looking for an immediately available Accounts Payable Officer on a 9 month basis. You will have proven experience within Accounts Payable functions and be able to interview on Monday 9th March. The Role Processing invoices against POs raised at sites and at Head Office Chasing approvals for invoices/POs Checking and processing Sub-Contractors Payment Advice Notes in preparation for payments Updating Sub-Contractor insurances in preparation for payments Liaising with sites, head office colleagues, suppliers and Commercial Administrators in execution of the above Twice-monthly payment runs for suppliers and sub-contractors Non-scheduled payments – transfers and cheques Statement reconciliations Updating recharge spreadsheet in preparation for journal upload Petty Cash: checking and replenishing cash Providing information on request (e.g. supplier spend) Other related duties as requested by the business The Person You will have at least 1 years' experience performing Accounts Payable functions Ability to work efficiently and accurately while under pressure Proactive and flexible approach to work Willingness to assist team members Our mission: To be the leading Executive Secretarial & Support recruitment consultancy in London, for employers and jobseekers alike.
