Add to shortlist The APAC Regional Compliance Manager is a Senior leader of the company Ethics & Compliance function reporting directly to the Global Head of Compliance, based in France. This role is responsible for providing leadership and direct oversight for the Global Compliance Program at the Regional level (APAC Sector, which includes 18 affiliates). The position is based in Singapore. Responsibilities: The APAC Regional Compliance Manager perfoms the following: Serve on the Global Compliance leadership team, helping to set compliance policy, strategy, and direction to be applied internationally. Ensure of the coordination of Local Compliance Officers and Compliance Liaisons in dotted line to develop the Group Compliance program. Provide leadership, guidance and support to affiliates on development, implementation, management, maintenance, continuous improvement and interpretation of compliance-related policies and procedures, country specific requirements and practices. Provide leadership, guidance and support to affiliates on complex ethics and compliance issues, including policy interpretation and requirements, compliance risk assessment, trend analysis and best practice recommendations. Direct and conduct periodic reviews and updates related to policies and procedures, ensuring clarity, applicability and compliance to Global directives and external requirements. Support affiliates in developing, updating, implementing and delivering comprehensive training program on policies and procedures and also develop and implement training on other environmental risks. Help implement, maintain and support continuous improvement of it’s comprehensive monitoring program to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Assess the existing compliance program at the individual country level and assist Affiliate Compliance Committees to identify and implement means to enhance it, ensuring that all elements of an effective compliance program are being met in the most efficient and effective manner. Work with the affiliates’ General Managers and other members of the Asian’ sector senior leadership to help establish the “right tone from the top” and “tone at the middle” at affiliate level, communicate importance of ethical standards, and help set clear communication from affiliates management on ethical business and business accountability. Strategically partner with the business (Commercial, Finance, Medical, Legal, HR Regulatory, Public Affairs) to help meet business objectives in a compliant manner. Perform risk assessment, trend analysis, root cause analysis and best practice recommendations. Partner with affiliates and auditors on compliance audits while maintaining full objectivity and independence. Help direct and oversee the Affiliates Compliance Committee. Maintain knowledge of all industry codes and in cooperation with legal of all applicable regulations and monitor key developments and assess potential impact on the business. Support it’s compliance organization in Asian sector, including participating to recruitment of talented professionals for open positions in the affiliates and manage the compliance organization to ensure it is performing at the highest level. Profile: Reports to the Head of Global Compliance, based in France Bachelor/Master Degree in Business, Medical, Risk Management, Finance & Legal 8 years experience minimum in Compliance, Audit, Legal, Internal Controls role Expertise in the Region and pharmaceutical sector are considering essential Previously experience in a big4 would be an advantage Experience in supporting information systems, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team player who can operate independently and in a fast paced environment The role will be based in Singapore and the candidate must be willing to travel in APAC region, around 40 to 50 %.
