The Opportunity An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trial Officer to join the ‘STAtins in Reducing Events in the Elderly’ (STAREE) clinical trial located in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for approaching and liaising with GPs to join as a co-investigator in the study. The main responsibility of the Clinical Trial Officer will be directly supporting the STAREE principal investigators and project manager in all aspects of conduct and implementation of a clinical trial. The Clinical Trial Officer will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians and nursing staff at general practices and/or hospitals and trial participants. The incumbent will be responsible for a large region in Queensland with some travel to assist NSW when needed. Some overnight stays may be required. About You The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of having the ability to solve problems by using innovation and exercising diagnostic skills within areas of functional responsibility or professional expertise, have the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment and a high level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You should enjoy travelling and be confident in approaching general practice clinics. A sales background would be advantageous.
