Modubuild are currently looking for several Mechanical Fitters/Assemblers to join our growing team. The Mechanical Fitter/Assembler will work in a specialist team tasked with delivering assemblies and subassemblies in the Data Centre industry. Full training will be provided for successful candidates. Travel both domestically and internationally will be required. Why Work for Modubuild? To achieve this we need like-minded people to join our team. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Work directly from engineering drawings and work instructions. Assemble and/or disassemble large sized sheet metal components and equipment to meet required specifications. Responsible for the overall finish of the assembly to a high standard and quality of workmanship. Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures including the use of proper PPE. Use of measuring equipment & able to measure & inspect own work Maintain a clean and safe work area Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified Key Requirements of the role include: Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role. Skilled in the use of general hand tools and power tools. Experienced with laser alignment and working at heights. Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings Ability to follow written instructions and safety method statements. An organised work ethic along with a high attention to detail. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Packages (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs). Have excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills. Proven track record of ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines using own initiative. Ability to take a professional, organised and positive approach to problem solving.
