You will provide key administrative support to the officer commanding DEODTIS by managing the DEODTIS registry and technical library as well as leading on a variety of administrative duties. As the DEODTIS Administration Clerk, you will be responsible for: Managing and controlling all DEODTIS media and supporting equipment. Accounting and processing of information in the technical library. Assisting with research of ordnance in order to update technical records. Managing classified material registers and associated security checks. The receipt, dispatch and administration of cryptographic material. Co-ordinating the output of the DEODTIS graphics staff. The day to day maintenance of external contracts and payments Purchases through the Contract Purchasing and Finance (CP&F) system. Co-ordinating travel and accommodation requirements. General maintenance of office machinery schedules. Responsibilities You will be assessed against these behaviours during the selection process: Making Effective Decisions Changing and Improving Seeing the Big Picture Leadership You must hold the MOD Finance Skills Foundation certificate or be prepared to gain it within 3 months in post. You will also be required to provide examples of your previous experience. Specifically, working on your own to meet team objectives, demonstrate your administrative experience and working with IT.
