JOB FAMILY SUMMARY: You know how to secure the people, networks, and cloud applications used in a modern enterprise environment and you have at least 3 years of experience working in Information Technology. In this role, you will manage cyber risk through various programs including: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), vulnerability management, network security, layer 4 and 7 firewall management, secure cloud access, privileged access management, security awareness, endpoint security, and compliance management. JOB SUMMARY: MINDBODY is looking for an addition to our Cybersecurity team. To join this team, you’ll need to have a passion for security, and love hands-on administration, analysis and automation. The Security Analyst will work closely with Development/Engineering, DBA, and Information Systems teams to create and maintain the safest operating environment for our employees and users. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience. Experience coding in one or more: Python, C/C++/C#, Java, PowerShell. 6+ years of experience in IT, Engineering, or similar field. 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity Experience with SIEM’s, vulnerability management, firewall management, end-point security Strong communication skills CISSP, CEH, Security+ or similar certification desirable PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy (10%) Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Cybersecurity policies, standards, and processes that help identify and mitigate security risk. Contribute to the development of security metrics. Track, analyze, and report security metrics and propose countermeasures to address security trends that are not in line with the desired risk profile. Execution (90%) Investigate and troubleshoot potential security issues to determine root cause and drive solutions Security incident response in coordination with other teams across the company and/or externally Manage and support a wide variety of security systems and products Monitor/tune policies, SEIM dashboards, and alert configurations for a wide variety of security systems and products Complete compliance analysis and metric reporting Reduce risk through data driven analysis and automation Act as a consultant and ambassador to internal customers and departments WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard. This position is mostly stationary and will be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet. Occasional travel required to other company sites, including MINDBODY HQ in the United States of America, professional development training, and vendor locations. SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY: Duties are performed under limited supervision. Will receive training and guidance when working on new processes and procedures. Most decisions will be routine and do not require supervisor assistance. No direct management responsibility.
