An exciting opportunity currently exists for someone to join our Visual Merchandising team in the role of Visual Merchandiser – VIC in a full time capacity. This exciting position is responsible for maintaining visual merchandising standards within a region of Mimco boutiques and David Jones concepts in line with the brand vision. Reporting to the State VM Manager the key responsibilities of this role are: Effective installation of windows and in-store displays in line with the current VM Guidelines and brand vision to maximize sales Ensure all stores within the region achieve and maintain visual merchandising standards at all times in line with the current VM Guidelines, with the view to maximizing sales Awareness of fashion trends and ideas as well as an excellent understanding and knowledge of the current season range Reviewing weekly store sales and best sellers when conducting store visits to ensure VM moves will maximize sales Ensuring that the Store Maintenance document is kept up to date and providing relevant photographs of any maintenance issues where required Assisting the with special projects where required To be considered for this role you will have: VM qualifications are essential Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role is desirable Excellent time management and organisational skills Keen eye for detail and a passion for retail Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment In return you can expect generous staff discounts, career development, and the opportunity of working in a creative environment for a brand with an impressive retail presence worldwide.
