We’re a young company that’s growing every day. We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Prague team to support our Operations department with insights gained from company data. This is a unique opportunity to really have tangible impact on models and analysis that influence business decisions! The Operations team is the core engine of Mews, with responsibilities spanning from running regional organizations (with commercial and P&L targets), defining strategy & expansions to onboarding new customers, providing customer care and account management. We’d like to improve our ability to become automated with unbiased, informed decisions based on data and by delivering actionable insights. The ideal candidate is comfortable using large data sets to find opportunities for process and performance optimisation – using models to test the effectiveness of different actions. You will be responsible for developing new models, creating and testing new features as we gain access to further data sources. You’ll be working with data from the various tools we use, looking for correlations, impact and for ways in which we can measure our KPIs. With this, you will be self-motivated, resilient and thrive on finding new innovative ways for data to help drive the business forward. Your Mission: * Define new data collection and analysis processes Collect, interpret and analyse data Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets Use tools like Power BI, SQL or Excel on a daily basis Setup and maintain team PowerBI reporting Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, verify and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers or the wider organisation Use statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy Use tools like Azure Data Factory, Power BI Dataflows, SQL, and other Azure services on a daily basis Optimise data transformations to handle continuous data size growth Work with management to prioritise business and information needs Deal with requests, choose the best approach and the right priority Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Work as a part of team or independently Requirements: Ability to handle an environment which is constantly evolving and changing Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to analyse large datasets and write comprehensive reports Proficiency in SQL & Python A demonstrable understanding of Statistics Proficiency in an analytic tool (we use PowerBI, but other similar tools like Tableau are fine, too) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Hands-on and curious; always looking to learn, solve problems and improve your skills Fluent in English Experience in delivering projects such as: Customer segmentation Operational efficiency tracking NPS modelling Propensity modelling (e.g. for an email marketing campaign); A/B testing; Churn modelling; Sales forecasting Benefits: Open, collaborative and innovative culture Opportunities for learning, development and advancement Competitive compensation package Mews library Mews travel program
