Close supervision is provided when needed, job is mainly performed according to defined processes or work methods. Geographical Scope National/States/International KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Key Area Individual Accountabilities Production Planning & Coordination Supports production planning & production coordination function, under the support and guidance of the Production Planners, Production Manager, Plant Operations Manager and ALWAR Leadership Team. Maintains updates and continually improves a master schedule of outstanding works orders to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts and customer order delivery requirements – utilizing both Metso ERP systems (SAP) as well as internal processes, procedures and schedules. Reviews routine production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations. Reviews and plans new production products to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations Analyses production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. Plans and schedules workflow for each department/work-center and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences, standards and lead times. Plans the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations to guide production workers and all supervisory personnel. Confers with factory leadership team members to determine status of specific orders and reports all related information, Expedites operations that respond to unforeseen events and alters planning as required to provide for the best possible delivery performance outcomes – taking into consideration the full scope of information available. Liaises with Internal Sales Representatives, Product Support personnel and all other parties (including external and internal groups), involved in the Order Process for manufactured & purchase products as well as outsourced activities. Operational support of, & assistance to those responsible for, the Raw Materials forecasting process at Canning Vale Maintains the manufactured parts master files on SAP, enters BOM/Routings for new parts and costs parts on SAP. Maintains production & supply chain records, required for traceability in accordance with Quality Assurance System requirements. HSEQ Stopping work activities and acting, if there is a belief that there may be an uncontrolled risk to the Employee or other people. Accepting responsibilities, following procedures and notifying the Supervisor if the job requirements are unclear to the Employee. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Essential 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Advanced computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite, SAP. Well-developed communication skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills. A high level of attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. Desirable Experience working in a rubber manufacturing facility. Industrial or manufacturing technical expertise or qualifications An understanding of Lean Management Systems Configuration experience with ERP systems KEY RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Reports to: Sr. Manager, Regional Order Planning, APAC Team Members: Production Supervisors; Production Team Leaders, Production Coordinators, Procurement Team, COE Team & ME Team Assists all Alwar Departments in planning & scheduling support functions.
