Roles & Responsibilities We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Team Lead for a role in our Operations Team in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is overall responsible for Workshop, Warehouse and Quality Control in MENCK Pte Ltd. Main Tasks: Preparation of work order, drawings and all necessary documents to execute the maintenance work on the equipment (MENCK/LMH/CIS/Claxton) Plan and supervise the team of technicians in the service, repair, maintenance and assembly of MENCK equipment Filing of maintenance documents into the relevant systems Reviewing of work orders and assembly drawings Ongoing improvements on Workshop, Warehouse and QC procedures and processes Close cooperation with Equipment Management, Projects, Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse department of the MENCK Group Initiate requisitions for needed internal services, tools and equipment Execution and Planning of Function Acceptance Tests with our Customers and internal stakeholders Creating of Service Reports for customers upon completion of maintenance and service projects Briefing of the technicians on job scope’s and safety related matters (toolbox meetings) Overseeing of work permits in collaboration with HSE department Ensure that internal work permits and lifting plans are prepared and adhered to with the relevant personnel Ensure that maintenance and inspections plan for equipment, lifting gear and tools are kept up to date in collaboration with QC department Preparation and execution of Workshop related internal and external trainings Ad hoc duties when assigned Responsible for the monitoring and improvement of workshop team performance and development Required Skills Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of working experience preferably in related field Good electrical & mechanical knowledge to understand wiring diagrams and carry out troubleshooting Leadership skill and team player Proficient in Microsoft Office, NAV is a plus Possess class 3 driving license Customer oriented, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills Good written & communication skills
