We have a great opportunity for a Junior IT Support Technician to join our team. The Junior IT Support Technician will need to provide general IT support for the Dover site in a varied environment, including Manufacturing, Engineering and Administration. This will include IT administration, purchasing and daily housekeeping duties. The key responsibilities To provide support to users (both local and remote) in resolving PC and network related problems. Maintain and monitor the web based IT support log. Liaise with external suppliers on the provision of hardware repair and replacement. Build and install desktop and laptop computers in line with existing policies and standards. Implement O/S and other software updates and security patches as required. Maintain accurate software and hardware records for Dover supplied IT assets. Obtain quotes for hardware and software, process purchase orders and receipts of IT equipment and software. Maintain accurate purchasing records.
