Medi-Weightloss

About Medi-Weightloss

Headquartered in Tampa, FL, Medi-Weightloss® is a physician supervised weight loss program with over 100 locations nationwide. Our founder, Edward Kaloust, began researching obesity in 2005 while on his own weight loss journey. He discovered that Americans spend billions annually on weight loss programs and products only to eventually regain most of the weight. It was then that Mr. Kaloust dedicated himself to ensuring that his program would not only help patients lose weight but also provide the support and education they need to keep it off. Medi-Weightloss prides itself on its evidence-based approach to treatment through clinical research. As the industry leader in physician-supervised weight loss, we are committed to making advances in weight management and implementing these advances to develop new therapies, enhance clinical guidelines, and assist with clinical decision-making. Our patients have come to expect not only weight loss success but also quality medical care for their weight related health issues.
