MedCare is looking for a dedicated Patient Scheduler to join our Outpatient Clinical Team. Responsibilities: The Patient Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing schedules for patients and therapists. The Patient Scheduler will report directly to the Clinical Director. Primary duties include coordinating and managing schedules for patients and therapists at a large outpatient pediatric rehab center. The Patient Scheduler's responsibilities also include serving as a liaison for call-ins and coordinating coverage and communication to appropriate staff, assisting in completing patient intakes and entering information in the system following set protocols, and performing duties of an Administrative Assistant as needed to include but not limited to: managing phones, collecting co-pays, and checking patients in, promoting good human relations with clients and caregivers.
