With ambitious plans to continue this rapid growth, we are looking for ‘ Customer Complaints Officer’ to support our Repairs and Maintenance Team across the North East Region. This is a great opportunity within our Housing Management business, following the success of the Asylum Accommodation and Support Contract win. As a Customer Complaints Officer you will play a central role in the management and resolution of all complaints across this important and high profile contract. You will ensure all complaints are handled and responded to in the correct way. As you take ownership you will manage, investigate and bring to a resolution. Administering the complaints process, tracking correspondence and ensuring responses are sent to customers within target timescales and within contractual agreement and KPI's. You will need to be a good communicator particularly with written responses and telephone conversations. You will also support the delivery of customer and community Services within the region, putting the customer at the heart of everything we do; ensuring we meet the needs of the business, our clients, our customers and community. What are we looking for? Experience of working in a customer services environment, handling complaints, building and maintaining relationships with senior managers, third parties are a necessity as well as proven experience of responding to and co-ordinating complex and escalated complaints. The candidate is expected to bring enthusiasm and a can-do attitude to deliver excellent services to our customers and provide competent assurance that any issues will be dealt with quickly and effectively. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing and having a customer focused approach are absolute necessities for this role. You will need to be able to build and maintain good relationships with internal teams, as well as support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with the client, local community and related associations, governing bodies and third parties Key attributes: Organised, reliable and adaptable A strong work ethic Honest / trustworthy and demonstrate the ability to work using own initiative as well as working as part of a team Positive attitude and the ability to keep calm under pressure Capacity to absorb new information quickly and accurately.
