WSO Engineer; Electrical Maintenance Reporting to: WSO Officer, Electro-Mechanical Unit Unit: Electro-Mechanical Unit (LMTP/PWTP) Section: Treatment Plant Maintenance Department: Water Production Division: Water Supply Operations MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Leads in implementation and scheduling of preventive maintenance and corrective activities related to electrical, instrumentation and control system of plant, building and grounds 2. Contribution in establishing Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS)3. Documentation of time directed activities pertaining to electrical, instrumentation and control system (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual Preventive Maintenance Activities) 4. Leads in other maintenance activities5. Technical evaluation of spare parts that being utilized in preventive and repair works of plant equipment 6. Maintains LMTP1, LMPT2 and PWTP electrical and instrumentation equipment, devices and controls7. Implements in-house rehabilitation works and monitor contracted works related to electrical, instrumentation and control system of plant, building and ground 8. Oversees and monitors implementations of safety program of the unit9. Collects and provides useful statics for the upgrade/ improvement of preventive maintenance and repair activities 10. Prepares and submits necessary reports necessary reports which may be required by the Unit Head from time to time11. Implements Integrated Management System’s programs, activities, procedures and policies 12. Does other related tasks as may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEGraduate of mechanical or electrical technical course Preferably a Licensed Registered Master Electrician Preferably with at least one to two years of experience in water treatment plant operation or any related field KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES Computer Skills (MS Office) Written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Analytical thinking skills PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/ATTITUDESWillingness to work additional hours in order to meet targets and deadlines With high customer service orientation Results-driven and proactive Can work with minimal supervision Can work under pressure WORKPLACE RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE USEDComputer Microsoft Office Tools May require handling various chemical and plant machineries/ equipment WORKING CONDITIONS and OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDSExposed to weather and field conditions during regular rounds of treatment plant facilities Handles various plant electrical machineries and equipment Always on call Job Type: Full-time Salary: Php20,000.00 to Php24,000.00 /month Experience: Electrical Engineering: 1 year (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Location: Quezon City (Preferred) Language: Tagalog (Preferred)
