JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct on-site checks and repairs on irrigation system. Evaluate architectural and landscape designs from a horticultural perspective with a view to determine the horticultural impact. Design tree & plants care plans and Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) for landscape maintenance Plan and execute landscape maintenance Responsible for any faults and defects reporting for landscape Monitor the day-to-day work progress of all defects rectification; identify any equipment defect, and review the corrective actions required immediately. Ensure quality works are be carried out based on SOPs, Guidelines, and Standards. Inventory stock check. Review resource, labor, and inventories including all essential equipment, tools, spares and supplies for the team and ensure that proper spares and supplies inventory are kept and updated regularly. Responsible for all field operations and coordination with Contractors regarding day-to-day work scopes, as well as to improve service level of relevant systems. Supervise and manage Contractors to ensure that assigned tasks are being carried out according to Standards, Guidelines, and SOPs. Manage and conduct vendor performance reviews; and provide appropriate recommendation to Senior management Work closely and liaise with all departments & business units in property on project and maintenance coordination to minimize disruption Responsible for Maximo work order closure and reviewing data to identify areas of improvements & productivity Responsible for procuring of supplies through Ariba and keeping track of maintenance budgets. Responsible to plan punchlist and budget for maintenance operation. Conduct performance appraisal of all team members under supervision Perform ad-hoc tasks as required, including assisting other facilities department team members JOB REQUIREMENTS Relevant Employment Certificate or Work Testimony Minimally a Diploma holder in Horticulture or equivalent. Bachelors in Horticulture/ Arboriculture would be advantageous. At least 5 years of hands-on practical working experience as a landscape and irrigation technician. Experience in project management, including set-up, preparation of scope of work, resource and scheduling management Possess knowledge on the application of horticultural chemical and pesticide Preferably experienced working outdoors and exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to fatigue, noise, dust, and ability to access all areas of the property including those at height Comfortable being on 24/7 stand-by for emergency call outs and performing of weekend facilities duty executive
