It doesn’t matter where you are from, what matters is the impact you have and your passion to make a difference We are looking for a Junior Accountant to be a part of our growing Finance team located at our Berlin HQ. You'll be supported and mentored by experienced leaders and colleagues such as the CFO and Head of Accounting. What you'll be working on: Ensure the delivery of transactional account payable services and take care of processing the received invoices in our ERP System and initiate payments of invoices and travel expenses Reconcile credit card and corporate travel accounts as well as manage vendor payments to ensure we honour payment terms Preparation of monthly and annual accounts Determine and evaluate individual balance sheet items and reconcile the balance sheet accounts Collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline processes and procedures You need to have: Completed an apprenticeship in accounting or an academic degree in Business Administration/Economics/Finance/equivalent Deep understanding of general ledger, including coding AP invoices, fixed assets and inter- company recharges 2 years of experience in the field of Finance – especially in Accounting Excellent skills in Excel and good experience with an accounting software, ideally Netsuite or any other ERP system Fluent in English, German skills are a big plus Good communication skills and are cooperative with a team-working mindset Flexible when prioritising work and able to effectively multi-task Desire to work in a fast-growing environment Why Mambu?
