Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities Design, code and implement automated tests for web, API and mobile applications; Development and support the testing of product features throughout the entire development cycle; Contribute towards continuous improvement of testing practices / tools to improve test strategy and efficiency; Extend test coverage and close gaps through strategic test development; Actively use Agile Methodology and Rapid Application Development to optimize client’s tools, web and mobile applications for maximum performance, speed and scalability; Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional organization (including our digital experts and developers) to prioritize, scope and communicate progress of deliverables; Automate the building, testing and deployments to promote continuous delivery; Help release and maintain code and debug production issues; Participate in code reviews to ensure new code confirms to highest standards; Contribute to a team culture that values openness, collaboration, initiatives and innovation Qualifications At least Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Mathematics or Computing content, such as Computer Science or Engineering; At least 3 years of experience in software engineering / testing; Passion for high quality software engineering Effective communication skills with other team members and business stakeholders; Experience contributing to bespoke automation frameworks for Web, API and mobile testing; Test automation tools / frameworks, e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, jUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Chai, Karma, Appium; Experience developing, executing and maintaining automated test cases; Understanding of relational databases; Strong scripting and programming skills, e.g. Unix Shell, Java, C#, Node.js; Strong understanding of OO programming concepts and design; Experience with Atlassian suite of tools: Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Confluence; Experience with Continuous Integration tools and processes, i.e. Jenkins, Bamboo, Teamcity; Source code management tools, preferably Git; Familiar with micro-service architecture Preferred Qualifications Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, continuous integration/delivery, and modern development practices; Understanding of front-end frameworks, e.g. Angular, React, Ember
