We are seeking a Millwork Drafter to join our growing team. We specialize in custom residential projects encompassing not only kitchens, closets, wine cellars, home theaters and everything in between, along with commercial projects. Skills & Qualifications: Organized and self-motivated, decisive and responsible Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings and specifications Able to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a multitude of tasks, prioritize tasks, work closely with Senior Designer/Project Manager, and ability to meet deadlines Participate in Design meetings, prepare and discuss notes with Senior Designer Interprets and carries out creative ideas proposed by Senior Designer and/or Clients and provide own ideas during design stages. Work with Senior Designer/ Project Manager to resolve design problems, discuss project criteria, and facilitate smooth project coordination Convert Architectural Millwork Elevations into Shop Drawings & Layouts Ability to generate full sets of millwork drawings an asset Positive attitude, dependable and team player Maintain a safe and clean working environment Experience: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture an asset Experience in Residential Millwork mandatory Experience in Commercial Millwork asset Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software (Mozaik an asset) Salary: Based on Experience Job Type: Permanent Experience: Drafting: 3 years (Required) AutoCAD: 3 years (Required)
