We're now a team of 65 people across 3 locations (London, Manchester, Bristol), and plan to treble in size over the next 3-4 years. Job Overview We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our growing Marketing team. You will be working closely with our Marketing Manager to ideate, plan and successfully deliver events aimed at engaging with our clients, prospects and partners, with the goal of generating new leads, increasing brand awareness and strengthening existing relationships. You will also manage Made Tech’s presence at events organised by third-parties, such as conferences, meetups, as well as any hiring events, to support hiring needs and employer branding. What does the job entail? Coordinate the company’s presence at third-party events, managing every aspect of Made Tech’s participation, from the logistics and promotional material to the follow up Grow Made Tech’s employer brand in the developer community through events and meetups Work alongside the Marketing Manager to define the target audience and event agenda for Made Tech’s own events Plan and successfully deliver events involving Made Tech’s clients, prospects and partners, from the communication, promotional activities and invitation process, all the way to the organisation and logistics Ensure the brand message is consistent across all touchpoints Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers and venues Craft and organise any promotional materials and marketing collateral for events Ensure events are delivered on budget and that all activities are carried out respecting the agreed timeline Monitor key event metrics to track success What we need from you 1-2 Years Experience in Event Management, either agency-side or in the tech sector You should be a confident communicator and good at building relationships Strong written and verbal communication Ability to work independently Great attention to detail Good time-management and project management skills as you must be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time Nice to have Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field or equivalent experience Tech community management experience What you will get from the role We believe in rapid progression and support your ongoing learning.
