If this sounds intriguing, we have a great role for you! What is the role? You will deliver core administrative support for Macmillan’s Geographical Delivery Teams within Cancer Support Operations. Providing high-quality customer service and resolving enquiries in an accurate, timely and compliant way, you will help us support Macmillan Professionals, volunteers and people living with cancer in the most effective way. Your responsibilities will range from maintaining customer databases (CRM) and processing new Macmillan Professional appointments to collaborating with our Finance and Grants teams on invoice management and supporting our volunteering service schemes. The role involves infrequent travel within the UK. Who are we looking for? You have experience of working within an administrative, secretarial, customer service or financial setting. You can demonstrate relationship building and team working skills as well as an ability to work within an agreed set of processes. An excellent verbal and written communicator, your customer service abilities mean you can manage challenging situations with senior internal and external contacts. You have good IT skills and proficiency with standard MS Office packages. Please note successful candidates tend to use something similar to the STAR method - this might be useful for you to research prior to attending. Who are the team? Service Operations is a support function for a range of job roles and responsibilities across the Cancer Support Operations team (CSO). Service Operations is a responsive team that has a range of skills and experience. This allows us to support CSO effectively to deliver services to improve the lives of People Living with Cancer.
