This role, based in Toowoomba, QLD, is a full-time permanent capacity. Reporting to the Business Unit Management Team, the ideal candidate for this position will be highly motivated to support the broader Finance team in fulfilling company accounting requirements and monitoring business performance. Key Responsibilities: · Cash-flow management, bank reconciliations and treasury administration · Accounts receivable administration · Processing of month end/year end journals and associated reconciliations · Reconciliation of fixed assets · Assist with preparation of statutory accounts and external audit · Assistance with or preparation of tax returns including BAS, FBT, payroll tax, income tax · Provide support to business units/departments · Assist with projects and ad hoc reporting as required About You: · Undergraduate degree in Accounting and studying or looking to commence CPA/CA qualifications · 2 years’ experience in a similar role · Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel · Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills · Exposure to an ERP system is highly desirable · Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability for accuracy.
