Roles & Responsibilities As a Civil & Mechanical Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for supervising all Civil and Mechanical works during erection, installation, testing & commissioning and initial operation period of Singapore’s 6th Waste to Energy (WtE) Plant Project. Whenever required, the incumbent will be expected to provide advice concerning testing & commissioning to EPC contractor as well as to coordinate with client supervisor for all matters concerning Civil & Mechanical work including meeting, correspondence etc. Area of responsibility 1) Schedule management in erection stage Manage schedule of Civil and mechanical work of Waste to Energy plant erection 2) Supervise in Mechanical work Supervise civil & mechanical work of Waste to Energy plant erection. Identifying any errors to be modified in installation stage 3) Operation check in test & commissioning stage Identifying any errors to be modified in test & commissioning stage Safety & Health management of Electrical & Instrument worker Job Requirements Associate Degree or its equivalent in Department of Civil and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. Competent in controlling all engineering related to stoker, boiler, refractory and steel structure. Extensive experience in Mechanical and Engineering field to take measures to avoid phreatic explosion and planning of countermeasures in Waste to Energy (WtE) Plant. Extensive knowledge in Mechanical field and to check all of the provided equipment and direct workers to avoid any damage. Competent to provide technical alternation of specification and large-scale modification according to the suspension of ash melting facility to avoid trouble during operation. Extensive engineering knowledge for steel structure and refractory in a short delivery period. Second Class Boiler Engineer Completion of Dioxin Education
