Responsibilities To propose to superior for any new product innovation and formulation improvement for existing products. Require fully involvement in processing line to understand the product and process thoroughly. To involve in planning the R & D project schedule based on the requisition from top management and customer. Independently plan & complete product development works with appropriate communication on project status to QA, Production, Maintenance, Customer Service & customer if necessary. To monitor, guide and oversee the subordinate on their R & D project and to ensure that they are able to meet the given timeline. Involve directly in R & D project for laboratory scale testing, pilot test and production run until the commercialization of the new or improved product. Ensure R & D records, product information and relevant analysis are well documented. Ensure that product formulation is distributed to production correctly and it is well in place at production and costing department. To liaise with raw material supplier for new or substitute raw material to cater the need of new product development, product improvement and cost reduction. Ensure new/substitute raw material are Halal Certified or obtain the Halal Declaration Letter from suppliers. To check the regulation compliance of any food additives used in specific product with the regulation of export countries. To provide product labelling information to Customer Service Department for artwork design. To check and review product labelling information on the new artwork design. Ensure that it is complying with both Malaysia and export country of food law and regulation. To fully understand and support the implementation of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001. To involve in conducting, reviewing and follow up for the internal Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audit, HACCP audit and Internal Quality Audit (IQA). To maintain R & D lab, equipment and ingredient in safe and hygienic storage. Requirement At least Diploma in Food Science or Technology Preferably 1 - 2 years of working experience or had undergo training session in food industry Computer literate Possess good interpersonal and communication skills Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM1,500.00 to RM2,500.00 /month Experience: Food Industry: 1 year (Preferred) Education: Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred) Location: Batu Pahat (Preferred) Benefits: Performance bonus Transport allowance
