Metrica is seeking to fill the Senior Logistics Specialist position based in Arlington, VA. In this position, you will administer program efforts providing Travel and Conference Support to the U.S. Government and private sector clients. Candidates should have sound grounding in the acquisition and delivery of services across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Focus on client and customer relationships to provide excellent service and exceptionally high-quality deliverables; Manage tasks by coordinating the required services according to standard operating policies and procedures; Assist in identifying new overseas suppliers, managing tasks in over 12+ countries and developing effective business improvement processes; Identify and develop solutions to complex logistical problems between the client and Metrica’s overseas suppliers; Coordinate logistical efforts in assigned countries or regions, and/or functional areas such as technical advisor support and conference/event management; Research the business markets and understand the business environments of countries within the assigned portfolio; Prepare and review invoices. Basic Qualifications: Undergraduate degree required Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 4 to 8 years of progressively more responsible experience in international operations or similar field Self-starter who displays initiative and can work independently; attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under tight timelines is also critical to this position Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to sustain interpersonal and professional relationships with internal colleagues and international affiliates Proficient in use of personal computers and MS Office Products and general office equipment Strong oral and written communications Commitment to consistently work within internal processes and procedures Willingness to engage in corporate initiatives as requested International experience is strongly desired Job Type: Full-time Experience: relevant: 4 years (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required)
