We are looking for a Production Design Engineer to join our company. You’ll be a member of our Production team, contributing to the design of standard and special metal cutting tools. To be successful in this position, you should have hands-on experience using CAD software, with strong attention to detail. It’s also important that you have rock-solid project management skills to meet the daily demands of the role. Job Description: Prepare engineering drawings and programs with computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software to be sent to production shop floor Prepare related production work orders Job Requirements: Proven experience using CAD software; knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus Experience in metalworking machining (i.e. milling, turning, grinding, etc) is a plus Ability to present in front of managers Great computational and spatial ability Excellent oral and written communication (English and/or Mandarin) Attention to detail Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
