We are looking for a Shopping Centre Security Officer: We have an open position on a temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent contract. Hours and shifts will vary per week, applicant is required to provide cover on shifts for holidays and sickness both day and night shifts. Job Title Security Officer Location The Wheatsheaf Centre Salary £8.64 per hour Hours of Work Varied hours per week THE JOB ROLE Your role will be to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to the Centre management, retailers and customers. We take pride in how we treat the people that walk into our Centre so good customer service and a smile are essential. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU / DUTIES! Be competent, punctual, reliable and preferably experienced in shopping centre security. Be proactive and able to work without direct supervision. To give assistance to customers seeking advice and information. SIA Security / Door Supervision license essential. SIA CCTV license preferred High vigilance to ensure a safe / secure working environment. Control Room/ Gatehouse duties, meeting and greeting visitors, site patrols / procedures.
