MATTA

About MATTA

Welcome to MATTA. When first formulating this place, we (Sophia and Richard) had the vision to recreate the experience of being in someone’s home for a meal, specifically a Vietnamese one. In that regard, we focused on a constant theme found in every Vietnamese home, and that is never having the same meal day after day. We focus solely on providing a daily-rotating menu to give that feeling, so everyday consists of a different dish. All of our recipes come from the Lê family, originally from Hue and Phan Rang, Vietnam, and are childhood-memory sparking foods for Richard. These are all reinterpretations of the food he cherishes so deeply. We thank you for joining us for dinner, it’s an honor to have you in our home!
