Stellenangebote Engineering Manager Country United Kingdom City Featherstone, Wolverhampton Section Operations Level Professionals Contract type Permanent Position Summary To provide leadership, training and direction for all positions within the manufacturing engineering department, developing the product and improving manufacturing technologies providing high quality products, excellent customer service and optimization of profitability for the company. Providing leadership that results in creative and innovative improvements in the manufacturing processes whilst providing and guiding technical services for development of process instructions manuals and key training aids for manufacturing. It will be necessary to gauge the co-worker’s level of understanding, provide necessary background, and communicate concepts in understandable terms. The use of schematics, drawings, and technical graphical representations and interpretation of complex customer requirements is essential. Your challenge Main Accountabilities include: Lead the Engineering team in supporting Production on a daily basis; Maintain timely and accurate process documentation; Serve as a technical resource for all technical departments; Set priorities for the Engineering team; Provide linkage between Regional and Corporate offices, and other groups at Plant level; Reporting of Key Performance Indicators; Manage the Engineering team providing performance feedback and goal-setting, including skill development and training. Your profile Essential attributes required: A relevant Engineering qualification is required. This can be either through University or through a technical apprenticeship. A minimum 5 years' experience in a management position; Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels; Extensive experience of the Automotive industry; Experience in working with large OEM’s, understanding their requirements and internal procedures Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
