Participation in continuous improvement to remove waste Follow manager’s direction Take initiative in providing solutions Promote teamwork within the department and with other departments Follow company policies and procedures Participate in self-improvement Practice good attendance Performing the following responsibilities: Design and develop new products, processes, and/or equipment Manage project or project components to completion within a specified timeline Ensure all certification and standards are met (NAFS, QAI, Energy star) for all products Design new products with the support of R & D and other departments Redesign existing products for waste improvements Create models and production drawings for implementation of new and existing products Create tooling drawings on new and modified product designs Oversee in house testing to ensure maximum performance Organize third party testing labs to test products Maintain all test results data Advise of bill of material changes and communicate with the BOM & purchasing departments Work with vendors on new product designs to meet project due dates and design issues.
